Chinese (traditional)- I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches. - I have chosen the way of truth;
Your judgments I have laid before me. - Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to covetousness. - And I will walk at liberty,
For I seek Your precepts. - I made haste, and did not delay
To keep Your commandments. - I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have given me life. - Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path. - Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever,
For they are the rejoicing of my heart. - You are my hiding place and my shield;
I hope in Your word. - The entrance of Your words gives light;
It gives understanding to the simple. - Direct my steps by Your word,
And let no iniquity have dominion over me. - The entirety of Your word is truth,
And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. - Great peace have those who love Your law,
And nothing causes them to stumble. - Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips
And from a deceitful tongue. - I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber. - The Lord shall preserve you from all evil;
He shall preserve your soul.
The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain. - Blessed is every one who fears the Lord,
Who walks in His ways. - Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord;
Lord, hear my voice!
Let Your ears be attentive
To the voice of my supplications. - I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
And in His word I do hope. - Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity! - The Lord will perfect that which concerns me;
Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands. - O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off.
For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.” Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?Next verse!With image
