- Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
- For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. - But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.

The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me:
