Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Received'
- Can anyone withhold the water of baptism from these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?
- For you did not receive a spirit of slavery leading to fear; rather, you received the Spirit of adoption, enabling us to cry out, “Abba! Father!”
- Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. You received without payment; give in the same way.
- Do the things that you have learned, received, and heard from me and that you saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
- So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
- Exalted at God’s right hand, he received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
- Jesus said to him, “Go on your way! Your faith has made you well.” Immediately, he received his sight and followed him along the road.
- When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
- By faith Abraham also received the power of procreation, even though he was well past the age—and Sarah herself was barren—because he believed that the one who had made the promise would be faithful in fulfilling it.
- But as for you,
the anointing you received from him
remains in you,
and therefore you do not need anyone
to teach you.
This same anointing
teaches you everything
and is true and not false,
so abide in him just as he taught you. - As for me, I do not regard my life as of any value, only that I finish the race and complete the mission that I received from the Lord Jesus—to bear witness to the gospel of God’s grace.
- For I handed on to you as of primary importance what I received: that Christ died for our sins, in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried and that he was raised to life on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
- Therefore, whenever you give alms, do not trumpet your generosity, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets in order to win the praise of others. Amen, I say to you, they have already received their reward.
- Whenever you fast, do not assume a gloomy expression like the hypocrites who contort their faces so that others may realize that they are fasting. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.
- And now, brethren, I want to remind you of the gospel I proclaimed to you, which you received and in which you stand firm. Through it you are also being saved, provided that you are holding fast to what I proclaimed to you. If not, then you have believed in vain.
- However, to those who did accept him
and who believed in his name
he granted the power to become children of God. - Those who accepted his message were baptized, and on that day about three thousand people were added to their number.
- This is the commandment
we have received from him:
whoever loves God
must also love his brother. - But Jesus has now received a ministry that is far superior, for he is the mediator of a far better covenant that has been established on better promises.
- Then, after he had spoken to them, the Lord Jesus was taken up into heaven, and there he took his place at the right hand of God.
- After he said this, he was lifted up as they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight.
- Therefore, accept one another for the glory of God, just as Christ has accepted you.
- Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have received from God, and that you are not your own? You have been purchased at a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body.
- Anyone who has received my commandments
and observes them
is the one who loves me.
And whoever loves me
will be loved by my Father,
and I will love him
and reveal myself to him. - At the time that discipline is received, it always seems painful rather than pleasant, but afterward it yields a harvest of peace and uprightness to those who have been trained by it.
The one who eats everything must not look contemptuously on the one who does not, and the one who abstains must not pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed both.It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior,
one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city. Love does not rejoice over wrongdoing
but rejoices in the truth.
Love bears all things,
believes all things,
hopes all things,
endures all things.Next verse!With image
