- So then, a sabbath rest still remains for the people of God; for those who enter God's rest also cease from their labors as God did from his.
- So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. - Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them.
- Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure God's wrath.

- Blessed is anyone who endures temptation. Such a one has stood the test and will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
- When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears,
and rescues them from all their troubles.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted,
and saves the crushed in spirit. - But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children's children,
to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments.
You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity, which will produce thanksgiving to God through us. You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,
will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress;
