Bible Verses about 'Remember'

  • Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love,
for they have been from of old.
    Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
according to your steadfast love remember me,
for the sake of your goodness, O Lord!
  • For I will be merciful toward their iniquities,
and I will remember their sins no more.
  • Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near of which you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”.
  • He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.
  • And it shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, to do them, not to follow after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined to whore after.
  • You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
  • But the steadfast love of the Lord is
from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children's children,
to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments.
  • The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
  • Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
  • Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
  • If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.
  • You shall not make gods of silver to be with me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
  • Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand.
  • Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.
  • Know therefore today, and lay it to your heart, that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.
  • Remove vexation from your heart, and put away pain from your body, for youth and the dawn of life are vanity.
  • Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one.
  • Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
  • In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other, so that man may not find out anything that will be after him.
  • And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
  • Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
  • Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
