- For one believes in the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved.
- The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,

as I know very well. - Riches will be of no avail on the day of wrath,

- Shun evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it. - And the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I wish to make another creature who will be like him.”
- Therefore, you will be given this sign
by the Lord himself:
The virgin will be with child,
and she will give birth to a son,
and she will name him Immanuel. - Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that at the proper time he may exalt you.
- In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me. - However, whoever lives by the truth
comes to the light
so that it may be clearly seen
that his deeds have been done in God. - The reward of humility and fear of the Lord
is wealth, honor, and life. - Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
- But now the righteousness of God that is attested by the Law and the Prophets has been manifested apart from law: the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. No distinction has been made.
- To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Therefore, I say to you: ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
- “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “the one who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
