- A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

- For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what you have, not according to what you don’t have.
- For as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.
- Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
- If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
- “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are profitable. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things build up.
- But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation.
- For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- If I give away all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don’t have love, it profits me nothing.
- Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
- For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world produces death.
- But I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.
- Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool that he may become wise.
- Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
- Every man who strives in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.
- But “he who boasts, let him boast in the Lord.” For it isn’t he who commends himself who is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
- And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.
- Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no other God but one.
