- ‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. - That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
- You are my hiding place;
You shall preserve me from trouble;
You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah - You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
- For the Lord your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.
- But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
- Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.”
- So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
- You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.
- Then you will understand righteousness and justice,
Equity and every good path. - And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
- For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye. - Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.
- He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler. - My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord;
In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up. - And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.
- Yet I am the Lord your God
Ever since the land of Egypt,
And you shall know no God but Me;
For there is no savior besides Me. - You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.
- Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
- And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be moved.
