- “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
and your ways are not my ways,” says Yahweh. - I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.
- Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
but violence covers the mouth of the wicked. - Hear my prayer, Yahweh.
Listen to my petitions.
In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me. - Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a right spirit within me. - Search me, God, and know my heart.
Try me, and know my thoughts.
See if there is any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the everlasting way. - Keep your tongue from evil,
and your lips from speaking lies. - I sought Yahweh, and he answered me,
and delivered me from all my fears. - But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on me will also live because of me.
- Yahweh, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness,
for they are from old times.
Don’t remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions.
Remember me according to your loving kindness,
for your goodness’ sake, Yahweh. - I delight to do your will, my God.
Yes, your law is within my heart. - Return, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions, so iniquity will not be your ruin.
- Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as Yahweh your God commanded you. You shall labor six days, and do all your work; but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God, in which you shall not do any work— neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates; that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.
- He will again have compassion on us.
He will tread our iniquities under foot.
You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. - May he grant you your heart’s desire,
and fulfill all your counsel. - Jesus said to her, “Don’t hold me, for I haven’t yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
- He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me.
- Most certainly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me.
- Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God. Yahweh is one. You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.
- Salvation belongs to Yahweh.
May your blessing be on your people. Selah. - If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there my servant will also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.
- Can a woman forget her nursing child,
that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Yes, these may forget,
yet I will not forget you!
Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.
Your walls are continually before me. - Commit your deeds to Yahweh,
and your plans shall succeed. - You shall serve Yahweh your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.
