The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law.The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law.

Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a disgrace to any people.Righteousness is a sign of a nation’s greatness, but sin degrades any people.
What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? Far from it! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?What then shall we say? Should we persist in sin in order that grace may abound? Of course not! We have died to sin. How can we live in it any longer?
I have treasured Your word in my heart, So that I may not sin against You.I treasure your word in my heart for fear that I may sin against you.
How blessed is he whose wrongdoing is forgiven, Whose sin is covered!Blessed is the one whose offense is forgiven, whose sin is erased.
I acknowledged my sin to You, And I did not hide my guilt; I said, “I will confess my wrongdoings to the Lord”; And You forgave the guilt of my sin. SelahThen I acknowledged my sin to you, and I made no attempt to conceal my guilt. I said, “I will confess my offenses to the Lord,” and you removed the guilt of my sin. Selah
For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under the Law but under grace.For sin is no longer to have any power over you, since you are not under the Law but under grace.
What then? Are we to sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Far from it!What then? Should we sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Of course not!
And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment.And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.For the wages of sin is death, but the gift freely given by God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? Far from it! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What then should we say? That the Law is sinful? Absolutely not! Yet if it had not been for the Law, I would not have known what sin was. I would not have known what covet is if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity.If you are angry, do not sin. Do not let the sun set on your anger, and do not give the devil an opening.
Because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin.For no one can be regarded as justified in the sight of God by keeping the Law. The Law brings only the consciousness of sin.
Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.Therefore, I tell you that every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin.For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall also be united with him in his resurrection. We know that our old self was crucified with him, so that our sinful body might be destroyed and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.
But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.However, now that you have been freed from sin and bound to the service of God, the benefit you receive is sanctification, and the end is eternal life.
Flee sexual immorality. Every other sin that a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.Flee from sexual immorality! Every other sin that a person commits is outside the body, but the fornicator sins against his own body.
But the Scripture has confined everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.But according to Scripture all things have been confined under sin, so that through faith in Jesus Christ what was promised might be given to those who believe.
So that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.Hence, as sin’s reign resulted in death, so the grace of God also might reign through righteousness resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
But if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.However, if we live in the light as he himself is in the light, then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son purifies us from all sin.
Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because the one who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin.Therefore, since Christ suffered in the flesh, you should arm yourselves also with the same intention. For anyone who has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin.
For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things just as we are, yet without sin.For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tested in every respect as we are, but without sinning.

So Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.So Christ, having been offered once to take away the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to bring salvation to those who are eagerly waiting for him.
