- This is how we can be certain
that we abide in him
and that he abides in us:
he has given us a share in his Spirit. - Do you not realize that you are God’s temple, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

- And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God who has marked you with his seal for the day of redemption.

- Beloved,
do not trust every spirit,
but test the spirits
to see whether they are from God.
For many false prophets
have gone out into the world. - A man’s pride will bring him low,
but lowly souls will rise to honor. - The desires of the flesh result in death, but the desires of the Spirit result in life and peace.
- Can anyone withhold the water of baptism from these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?
- Until a spirit from on high
is poured out upon us,
and the wilderness becomes an orchard
and the fruitful field becomes a forest.
