By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

Can anyone withhold the water for baptizing these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?Can anyone forbid these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just like us.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world.Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

A gossip goes about telling secrets, but one who is trustworthy in spirit keeps a confidence.One who brings gossip betrays a confidence, but one who is of a trustworthy spirit is one who keeps a secret.
