and as a watch in the night. - Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
- Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
- Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

unto a nation that was not called by my name. - But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
- Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
- For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
