Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Strife'
- It is to one’s honor to avoid strife,
but every fool is quick to quarrel. - A perverse person stirs up conflict,
and a gossip separates close friends. - Hatred stirs up conflict,
but love covers over all wrongs. - The lips of fools bring them strife,
and their mouths invite a beating. - Where there is strife, there is pride,
but wisdom is found in those who take advice. - The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
- For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.
- Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.
When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment. Why, my soul, are you downcast?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God.Next verse! With image
