- With my whole heart I have sought You;
Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! - Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back.
- “For the mountains shall depart
And the hills be removed,
But My kindness shall not depart from you,
Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,”
Says the Lord, who has mercy on you. - With my soul I have desired You in the night,
Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early;
For when Your judgments are in the earth,
The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. - O my soul, you have said to the Lord,
“You are my Lord,
My goodness is nothing apart from You.” - I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will tell of all Your marvelous works. - In You, O Lord, I put my trust;
Let me never be ashamed;
Deliver me in Your righteousness. - For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God.
- My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You,
And my soul, which You have redeemed. - “No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord. - And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
- For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
- Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy;
For You render to each one according to his work. - I will praise You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments. - Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day. - For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
- Cast your burden on the Lord,
And He shall sustain you;
He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. - For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. - Can a woman forget her nursing child,
And not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Surely they may forget,
Yet I will not forget you.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me. - Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
- Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”
- My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord;
In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up. - Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.
- Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.
- In like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.
