Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.Children’s children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children.
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.”
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
