What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn’t have known sin except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

Then I saw all the labor and achievement that is the envy of a man’s neighbor. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.
So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
It is a snare to a man to make a rash dedication, then later to consider his vows.It is a snare for a man to devote rashly something as holy, And afterward to reconsider his vows.
Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own possession from among all peoples; for all the earth is mine.Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.
God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared, for today is holy to our Lord. Don’t be grieved, for the joy of Yahweh is your strength.”Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Now therefore put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to Yahweh, the God of Israel.“Now therefore,” he said, “put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord God of Israel.”
So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Those who are in the flesh can’t please God.So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
So you shall know wisdom to be to your soul. If you have found it, then there will be a reward: Your hope will not be cut off.So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul; If you have found it, there is a prospect, And your hope will not be cut off.
He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
He said to them, “Are you also without understanding? Don’t you perceive that whatever goes into the man from outside can’t defile him, because it doesn’t go into his heart, but into his stomach, then into the latrine, making all foods clean?”So He said to them, “Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him, because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?”
Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” Dividing his garments among them, they cast lots.Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.

Peter opened his mouth and said, “Truly I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism; but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.”Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.”
