- The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it,
the world and all who live in it. - Cure the sick who are there, and say, ‘The kingdom of God has come unto you.’

- What then shall we say? Should we persist in sin in order that grace may abound? Of course not! We have died to sin. How can we live in it any longer?
- However, the one who looks intently at the perfect law of freedom and perseveres—not forgetting what he has heard but putting it into practice—will be blessed in everything he does.
- For six days work can be done, but the seventh is a Sabbath of rest, a holy assembly. You will do no work on it; it is a Sabbath of the Lord in all of your dwellings.
- A highway will be there
that will be called the Way of Holiness.
No one who is unclean may pass over it;
it will serve as a path for pilgrims
and no fool will be able to use it. - Let those who are wise understand these words,
and let the prudent acknowledge them.
For straight are the ways of the Lord;

Christ Jesus, himself a man. - For where there is envy and selfish ambition, there will also be disharmony and every type of wickedness.
- There is no salvation in anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to men by which we can be saved.
- Thereupon the Lord restored the prosperity of Job after he had prayed for his friends, and he enriched him with twice as much as he had possessed before.

that I am going to prepare a place for you? - How great you are, Lord God! There is no one like you, and there is no God except you alone, as everything that we have heard confirms.

- Now an intermediary is not necessary when there is only one party, and God is one.
- Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from anything that can defile flesh or spirit, and thereby make our holiness perfect in the fear of God.
- Now this Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
- For all have sinned and thereby are deprived of the glory of God, and all are justified by the gift of his grace that is given freely through the redemption in Christ Jesus.
- Plans miscarry when counsel is lacking,
but they succeed when there are many counselors. - For this day in the city of David there has been born to you a Savior who is Christ, the Lord.

you then will truly be free. - But if you seek the Lord, your God, and you strive with all your heart and your soul, you will find him there.
- By these he has given us his precious promises, great beyond all price, so that through them you may escape from the corruption with which evil desires have infected the world and thereby may come to share in the divine nature.
- Indeed, under the Law almost everything is purified by blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
- Repent, therefore, and be converted so that your sins may be wiped away.
