- For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
- Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise.
- Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
- You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.
- One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple. - Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you and praise your name,
for in perfect faithfulness
you have done wonderful things,
things planned long ago. - For he satisfies the thirsty
and fills the hungry with good things. - No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
- Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
- His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
- Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things;
let this be known to all the world. - He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. - The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.
- A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
- Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
- For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen. - What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what lies in darkness,
and light dwells with him. - Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
- Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
- We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
- But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
- Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”
- I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
- And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
But be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.Next verse!With image
