It is a trap to dedicate something rashly and only later to consider one’s vows.It is a snare for one to say rashly, “It is holy,” and begin to reflect only after making a vow.
God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”For he will repay according to each one's deeds.

To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.
Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them, and not to steal from them, but to show that they can be fully trusted, so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive.Tell slaves to be submissive to their masters and to give satisfaction in every respect; they are not to talk back, not to pilfer, but to show complete and perfect fidelity, so that in everything they may be an ornament to the doctrine of God our Savior.

There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.There is a way that seems right to a person, but its end is the way to death.
