And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed. - Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
- There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?
- How much better to get wisdom than gold!
And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver. - The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth. - Who “will render to each one according to his deeds”
- The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me

And the opening of the prison to those who are bound. - Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.
- But take careful heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
- Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
- Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
- For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
- Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy;
For You render to each one according to his work. - Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,
Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones. - Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path. - I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
- He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength. - It is a snare for a man to devote rashly something as holy,
And afterward to reconsider his vows. - He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God? - Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
- And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
- To do righteousness and justice
Is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to covetousness. - Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
But to Your name give glory,
Because of Your mercy,
Because of Your truth. - I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - “Return to Me,” says the Lord of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts.
- Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
When it is in the power of your hand to do so. - And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
- Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
- If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!
- Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
- For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
- Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.
- Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
- Do not turn to the right or the left;
Remove your foot from evil. - And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?’
- Is this not the fast that I have chosen:
To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke?
