  • For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.
  • Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.
  • Excellent speech is not becoming to a fool,
    Much less lying lips to a prince.
  • And the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day.
  • Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”
    Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”
  • Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come— that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.
  • To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.
  • Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
  • In that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.
  • It is honorable for a man to stop striving,
    Since any fool can start a quarrel.
  • But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
  • And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.
  • Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
  • Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,
    For in You do I trust;
    Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
    For I lift up my soul to You.
  • Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord;
    Lord, hear my voice!
    Let Your ears be attentive
    To the voice of my supplications.
  • Let us search out and examine our ways,
    And turn back to the Lord.
  • There is a way that seems right to a man,
    But its end is the way of death.
  • If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
  • The heart is deceitful above all things,
    And desperately wicked;
    Who can know it?
    I, the Lord, search the heart,
    I test the mind,
    Even to give every man according to his ways,
    According to the fruit of his doings.
  • So teach us to number our days,
    That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
  • But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
  • But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
  • And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
  • Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
  • So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
