- May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

for our hope is in you alone. - For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith expressing itself in love.
- A friend is always loyal,
and a brother is born to help in time of need. - Let your favor shine on your servant.
In your unfailing love, rescue me. - Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have declared so well before many witnesses.
- You who love the Lord, hate evil!
He protects the lives of his godly people
and rescues them from the power of the wicked. - I cried out, “I am slipping!”
but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me. - If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person?
- And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
- Place me like a seal over your heart,
like a seal on your arm.
For love is as strong as death,
its jealousy as enduring as the grave.
Love flashes like fire,
the brightest kind of flame. - Soon I will die, going the way of everything on earth. Deep in your hearts you know that every promise of the Lord your God has come true. Not a single one has failed!
- But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you.
