- And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel:
“Seek Me and live.” - So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.”
- I acknowledged my sin to You,
And my iniquity I have not hidden.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah - As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.
- Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
- Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.
- When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”
- Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.
- The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry. - But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
- The entrance of Your words gives light;
It gives understanding to the simple. - Every word of God is pure;
He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. - Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever. - That I may come to you with joy by the will of God, and may be refreshed together with you.
- Sing to the Lord,
For He has done excellent things;
This is known in all the earth. - Oh, give thanks to the Lord!
Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples! - The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth. - And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
- Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
- Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
- The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace. - You shall not make anything to be with Me—gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves.
- Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.
- Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.
