- O my soul, you have said to the Lord,
“You are my Lord,
My goodness is nothing apart from You.” - My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You,
And my soul, which You have redeemed. - And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
- Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
- There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death. - For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,
Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’ - But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
- Surely the Lord God does nothing,

- Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy;
For You render to each one according to his work. - And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.
- Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.
- Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.”
- Therefore I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
My God will hear me. - I thank You and praise You,
O God of my fathers;
You have given me wisdom and might,
And have now made known to me what we asked of You,
For You have made known to us the king’s demand. - So we may boldly say:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?” - I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples,
And I will sing praises to You among the nations. - I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
- But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
- Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”
Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.” - In God (I will praise His word),
In God I have put my trust;
I will not fear.
What can flesh do to me? - If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
- God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
