Bible Verses about 'Voice'

  • Out of the depths I have cried to You, Lord.
    Lord, hear my voice!
    Let Your ears be attentive
    To the sound of my pleadings.
  • And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?’
  • And behold, a voice from the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
  • In the morning, Lord, You will hear my voice;
    In the morning I will present my prayer to You and be on the watch.
  • Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
  • Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
  • I love the Lord, because He hears
    My voice and my pleas.
    Because He has inclined His ear to me,
    Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.
  • And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into Your hands I entrust My spirit.” And having said this, He died.
  • In my distress I called upon the Lord,
    And cried to my God for help;
    He heard my voice from His temple,
    And my cry for help before Him came into His ears.
  • But I will sacrifice to You
    With a voice of thanksgiving.
    That which I have vowed I will pay.
    Salvation is from the Lord.
  • While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice from the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to Him!”
  • You shall follow the Lord your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him.
  • Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine.
  • But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you shall walk entirely in the way which I command you, so that it may go well for you.’
  • Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus also was baptized, and while He was praying, heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came from heaven: “You are My beloved Son, in You I am well pleased.”
  • If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and listen to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the Lord, am your healer.
  • For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
  • And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among the people, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”
  • Now it shall be, if you diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I am commanding you today, that the Lord your God will put you high above all the nations of the earth.
  • I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because Abraham obeyed Me and fulfilled his duty to Me, and kept My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.
  • I cried to Him with my mouth,
    And He was exalted with my tongue.
  • Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.”
  • “No weapon that is formed against you will succeed;
    And you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment.
    This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
    And their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord.

For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.Next verse!With image
