- Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor.

- But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?

- Therefore, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that “an idol has no real existence,” and that “there is no God but one.”
- Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?
- Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- But he was pierced for our transgressions;
he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
and with his wounds we are healed. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
- Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
- And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
- For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
- What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?
Then you will understand righteousness and justice
and equity, every good path.But Jesus on hearing this answered him, “Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well.” But they who wait for the Lord
