Bible Verses about 'Whatever'

  • And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
  • And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.
  • So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
  • Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have.
  • And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.
  • Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do!
And whatever else you do, develop good judgment.
  • You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.
  • Our God is in the heavens,
and he does as he wishes.
  • Of all the marine animals, you may eat whatever has both fins and scales. You may not, however, eat marine animals that do not have both fins and scales. They are ceremonially unclean for you.
  • Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.
  • You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.
  • He loves whatever is just and good;
the unfailing love of the Lord fills the earth.
  • Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops for all to hear!
  • Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence. And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him.
  • You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.
  • Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.
  • I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.
  • And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.
  • Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have.
  • But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!
  • Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.
  • “All right, you may test him,” the Lord said to Satan. “Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him physically.” So Satan left the Lord’s presence.
  • Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.
  • But when you are arrested and stand trial, don’t worry in advance about what to say. Just say what God tells you at that time, for it is not you who will be speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
  • For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.

Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled.

You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror.
