So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.For our eyes are fixed not on what is seen but rather on that which cannot be seen. What is visible is transitory; what is invisible is eternal.
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.Let your love be sincere. Loathe what is evil and hold fast to what is good.
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you may ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.For the desires of the flesh are opposed to the Spirit, and those of the Spirit are opposed to the flesh. They are in conflict with one another, so that you cannot do what you want.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.Faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the conviction about things that cannot be seen.
Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.’Therefore say to them, “Thus says the Lord God: The fulfillment of my words will not be delayed any longer. What I have said will be done now. This is the word of the Lord God.”
Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.Do the things that you have learned, received, and heard from me and that you saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
The lips of the righteous know what finds favor, but the mouth of the wicked only what is perverse.The lips of the righteous utter words of kindness, but the mouth of the wicked knows only how to pervert.
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.And so you should put to death everything in your nature that is earthly: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desires, and greed (which is idolatry).
However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him.For as it is written, “Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor has the human heart imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”
“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”Abba, Father, for you all things are possible. Take this cup from me. Yet not my will but yours be done.
This is what the Lord says to Israel: “Seek me and live.”For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: If you seek me, you will survive.
For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.As long as the goodwill is present, the gift will be acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”For God will repay everyone in accordance with what his deeds deserve.
You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.As for you, teach what is consistent with sound doctrine.
What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his very life? Or what can he give in exchange for his life?
You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.Therefore, you have no excuse, whoever you may be, when you pass judgment on others. For in judging others you condemn yourself, since you are doing the same things.
Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”He replied, “What is impossible for men is possible for God.”
Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before!What then if you were to behold the Son of Man ascend to where he was before?
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.The Lord has told you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? Only this: to do what is right, to show mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it with patience.
What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What then should we say? That the Law is sinful? Absolutely not! Yet if it had not been for the Law, I would not have known what sin was. I would not have known what covet is if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?Do not associate with unbelievers. For what basis can there be for a partnership between righteousness and lawlessness? What do light and darkness have in common?
