- Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.
- But who am I, and who are my people,
That we should be able to offer so willingly as this?
For all things come from You,
And of Your own we have given You. - Who has performed and done it,
Calling the generations from the beginning?
‘I, the Lord, am the first;
And with the last I am He.’ - Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.
- Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
- He who covers a transgression seeks love,
But he who repeats a matter separates friends. - Open your mouth for the speechless,
In the cause of all who are appointed to die. - He who heeds the word wisely will find good,
And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he. - I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
- Because I delivered the poor who cried out,
The fatherless and the one who had no helper.
The blessing of a perishing man came upon me,
And I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy. - Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the Lord. - Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
- And said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.”
- Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.”
- Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.
- He who keeps instruction is in the way of life,
But he who refuses correction goes astray. - Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
