- He who heeds the word wisely will find good,
And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he. - But “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
- But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
- But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
- And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
- Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.

Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” - For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
- Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.
- And said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.”
- But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
- Who has performed and done it,
Calling the generations from the beginning?
‘I, the Lord, am the first;
And with the last I am He.’ - But who am I, and who are my people,
That we should be able to offer so willingly as this?
For all things come from You,
And of Your own we have given You. - I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
- The Lord redeems the soul of His servants,
And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned. - He who keeps instruction is in the way of life,
But he who refuses correction goes astray. - Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the Lord. - Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.”
- He who covers a transgression seeks love,
But he who repeats a matter separates friends. - Open your mouth for the speechless,
In the cause of all who are appointed to die. - Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
- A good man deals graciously and lends;
He will guide his affairs with discretion. - He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber. - Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
- Because I delivered the poor who cried out,
The fatherless and the one who had no helper.
The blessing of a perishing man came upon me,
And I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy.
