| What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? | What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? |

| His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ |
| And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. | Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. |
| Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. | You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. |
| Sing to the Lord, For He has done excellent things; This is known in all the earth. | Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. |
