- My soul, wait silently for God alone,
For my expectation is from Him. - And so it was, because the midwives feared God, that He provided households for them.

- Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
- For You will light my lamp;
The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. - As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So pants my soul for You, O God. - Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
- Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me. - Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
- Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
- Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
- For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.
- Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
Let Your glory be above all the earth. - In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
