- The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore. - Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory. - Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.’
- When I said, “My foot is slipping,”
your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. - He who finds a wife finds what is good
and receives favor from the Lord. - The Lord has done it this very day;
let us rejoice today and be glad. - Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom. - Lord, save us!
Lord, grant us success!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
From the house of the Lord we bless you. - Humility is the fear of the Lord;
its wages are riches and honor and life. - A person may think their own ways are right,
but the Lord weighs the heart. - Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.
- For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. - For the Lord takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with victory. - Honor the Lord with your wealth,
with the firstfruits of all your crops. - You, Lord, reign forever;
your throne endures from generation to generation. - Better a little with the fear of the Lord
than great wealth with turmoil. - I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
- The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth. - The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love. - This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles. - But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high. - Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers,
and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord. - Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely. - Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. - To do what is right and just
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.
Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.Next verse!With image
