- For the Lord is our judge,
the Lord is our lawgiver,
the Lord is our king;
he will save us. - The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind:
the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down:
the Lord loveth the righteous. - Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord. - The Lord will give strength unto his people;
the Lord will bless his people with peace. - Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.
- And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
- Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
- The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. - Shew me thy ways, O Lord;
teach me thy paths. - And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
- The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
- I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
the Lord is the strength of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
- Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
- Seek the Lord, and his strength:
seek his face evermore. - Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. - The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever:
forsake not the works of thine own hands. - For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - Except the Lord build the house,
they labour in vain that build it:
except the Lord keep the city,
the watchman waketh but in vain. - Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand:
forget not the humble. - Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the Lord. - For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.
- A man's heart deviseth his way:
but the Lord directeth his steps.
