- So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
- Let your eyes look straight ahead,
And your eyelids look right before you. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. - For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens,
And Your truth unto the clouds. - For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts. - Ponder the path of your feet,
And let all your ways be established. - My son, keep your father’s command,
And do not forsake the law of your mother. - Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
- Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
- Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
- Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls;
All Your waves and billows have gone over me. - Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and depart from evil.
It will be health to your flesh,
And strength to your bones. - Honor the Lord with your possessions,
And with the firstfruits of all your increase. - Go, eat your bread with joy,
And drink your wine with a merry heart;
For God has already accepted your works. - Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them. - In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven. - The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
- But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- The entirety of Your word is truth,
And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. - But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
- Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
- “Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets preached, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Turn now from your evil ways and your evil deeds.” ’ But they did not hear nor heed Me,” says the Lord.
- But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
- But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
- And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.
