- Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
- Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
- Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
- But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
- Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
- Since thou wast precious in my sight,
thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee:
therefore will I give men for thee,
and people for thy life. - And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
- Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not;
neither go into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity:
for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off. - Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses;
for they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth,
nor my transgressions:
according to thy mercy remember thou me
for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
- For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,
saith the Lord. - If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
- But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
- Let all your things be done with charity.
- And rend your heart,
and not your garments,
and turn unto the Lord your God:
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and of great kindness,
and repenteth him of the evil. - What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
- Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
- For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts. - Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
- Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
- Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
- The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
- The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
- And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
