| Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another. | Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. |

| Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. | Restore us, O Lord God of hosts! Let your face shine, that we may be saved! |
| Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. | Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. |
