- For so the Lord has commanded us,
‘I have appointed You as a light to the Gentiles,
That You may bring salvation to the end of the earth.’ - And if you say in your heart, ‘How will we recognize the word which the Lord has not spoken?’ When the prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, and the thing does not happen or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you are not to be afraid of him.
- Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!
- Now if a person sins and does any of the things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, though he was unaware, he is still guilty and shall bear his punishment.

The Lord is the sustainer of my soul. - One who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Will lodge in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
My God, in whom I trust!” - For the Lord loves justice
And does not abandon His godly ones;
They are protected forever,
But the descendants of the wicked will be eliminated. - The Lord will fight for you, while you keep silent.
- Better is the little of the righteous
Than the abundance of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked will be broken,
But the Lord sustains the righteous. - For one who finds me finds life,
And obtains favor from the Lord. - The angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; for that reason also the holy Child will be called the Son of God.”
- “Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord God, “rather than that he would turn from his ways and live?”
- Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.
- Not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
- Seek the Lord and His strength;
Seek His face continually. - Let your gentle spirit be known to all people. The Lord is near.
- The steps of a man are established by the Lord,
And He delights in his way. - Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him;
Do not get upset because of one who is successful in his way,
Because of the person who carries out wicked schemes. - Wives, subject yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body.
- Everything that has breath shall praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord! - He who finds a wife finds a good thing
And obtains favor from the Lord. - Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord,
Who walks in His ways. - Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God?
