Blood of Jesus (3/4)

  • But according to Scripture all things have been confined under sin, so that through faith in Jesus Christ what was promised might be given to those who believe.
  • Indeed, persecution will afflict all who want to lead a godly life in Christ Jesus.
  • On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out,
    “If anyone is thirsty,
let him come to me and drink.”
  • But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for a life of good works that God had prepared for us to do.
  • I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation to know him.
  • It was for this purpose that he called you through our gospel so that you might come to share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • When Jesus heard this, he said, “Do not be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be saved.”
  • And whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
  • They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, and so too will your household.”
  • Rather, grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To him be glory both now and for all eternity. Amen.
  • We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners, yet we know that a man is justified not by the works of the Law but through faith in Jesus Christ. So we too came to believe in Christ Jesus so that we might be justified by faith in him and not by the works of the Law, for no one will be justified by the works of the Law.
  • The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
    Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
  • But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them. For it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”
  • For there is one God,
and there is one mediator between God and man,
    Christ Jesus, himself a man.
  • Jesus answered them,
“I am the bread of life.
Whoever comes to me will never be hungry,
and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
  • Rejoice always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
  • I press on toward the finishing line to win the heavenly prize to which God has called me in Christ Jesus.
  • “Peace be with you,” Jesus said to them again.
“As the Father has sent me,
    so I send you.”
  • Blessed be the God,
and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us in Christ
with every spiritual blessing in the heavens.
  • Through faith you are all children of God in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves in Christ.
  • Jesus then said,
    “I will remain with you
only for a short time longer,
    and then I shall return
    to him who sent me.”
  • For I resolved that, while I was with you, I would know nothing except Jesus Christ—and him crucified.
  • May I never boast of anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world is crucified to me and I to the world.
  • Since in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor lack of circumcision is worth anything. All that matters is faith expressing itself through love.

Jesus replied,
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father
except through me.”

The Lord watches over the stranger
and sustains the fatherless and the widow,
