- Make me to know your ways, O Lord;
teach me your paths. - Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
- For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord. - But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- Keep your tongue from evil,
and your lips from speaking deceit. - Repent and turn from all your transgressions; otherwise iniquity will be your ruin.
- I delight to do your will, O my God;
your law is within my heart. - Teach me your way, O Lord,
that I may walk in your truth;
give me an undivided heart to revere your name. - May he grant you your heart's desire,
and fulfill all your plans. - Observe the sabbath day and keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work. But the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God; you shall not do any work—you, or your son or your daughter, or your male or female slave, or your ox or your donkey, or any of your livestock, or the resident alien in your towns, so that your male and female slave may rest as well as you.
- So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
- Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
- Deliverance belongs to the Lord;
may your blessing be on your people! Selah - My mouth is filled with your praise,
and with your glory all day long. - You shall worship the Lord your God, and I will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from among you.
- Do not, O Lord, withhold
your mercy from me;
let your steadfast love and your faithfulness
keep me safe forever. - Deep calls to deep
at the thunder of your cataracts;
all your waves and your billows
have gone over me. - Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
- Commit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established. - Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory,
for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness. - Rend your hearts and not your clothing.
Return to the Lord, your God,
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love,
and relents from punishing. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not rely on your own insight.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths. - Keep straight the path of your feet,
and all your ways will be sure. - Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
- Let your eyes look directly forward,
and your gaze be straight before you.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.For what human being knows what is truly human except the human spirit that is within? So also no one comprehends what is truly God's except the Spirit of God. If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.Next verse!With image
