Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.
Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.Ill-gotten treasures have no lasting value, but righteousness delivers from death.
Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.
Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.
The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.
Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
The ransom of a man's life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.A person’s riches may ransom their life, but the poor cannot respond to threatening rebukes.
But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say.
