- Faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the conviction about things that cannot be seen.
- In it the righteousness of God is revealed, beginning in faith and established in faith. As it is written: “The one who is righteous will live through faith.”
- Welcome anyone whose faith is weak, but do not get into arguments about doubts.
- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
- The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law.
- For everyone born of God
conquers the world.
And the victory that conquers the world
is our faith. - Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts:
he is the King of glory. Selah - In the same way, faith by itself is dead if it does not have works.

let us exult and rejoice in it. - Now this Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

except the one who believes
that Jesus is the Son of God? - This is
‘the stone rejected by you, the builders,
that has become the cornerstone.’ - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage. - The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it,
the world and all who live in it. - And take the helmet of salvation as well as the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- God abides in anyone who acknowledges
that Jesus is the Son of God,
and that person abides in God. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. - For Christ is the fulfillment of the Law for the justification of all who believe.
- Love cannot result in any harm to the neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the Law.
- Jesus replied,
“This is the work of God:
to believe in the one whom he has sent.” - Great is the Lord and worthy of the highest praise;
no one can even begin to comprehend his greatness. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
fools are those who despise wisdom and instruction. - So then, faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.
Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these. Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from anything that can defile flesh or spirit, and thereby make our holiness perfect in the fear of God.Next verse!With image
