- Lord, hear my prayer,
listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief. - For great is your love, reaching to the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches to the skies. - I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I have set my heart on your laws. - Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;

do not abandon the works of your hands. - Surely your goodness and love will follow me

for I have put my trust in you.

for to you I entrust my life. - But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing the Lord’s praise,
for he has been good to me.
