- Do not judge others, and you will not be judged.

the one who watches over you will not slumber. - I, yes I, am the one who comforts you.
So why are you afraid of mere humans,
who wither like the grass and disappear? - Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying.”
- As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit.”

Has he ever promised and not carried it through? - Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.
- Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.
- For we live by believing and not by seeing.
- For the commandments say, “You must not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not covet.” These—and other such commandments—are summed up in this one commandment: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
- But you may wonder, ‘How will we know whether or not a prophecy is from the Lord?’ If the prophet speaks in the Lord’s name but his prediction does not happen or come true, you will know that the Lord did not give that message. That prophet has spoken without my authority and need not be feared.
- Not to us, O Lord, not to us,
but to your name goes all the glory
for your unfailing love and faithfulness. - Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.
- Well then, am I suggesting that the law of God is sinful? Of course not! In fact, it was the law that showed me my sin. I would never have known that coveting is wrong if the law had not said, “You must not covet.”
- No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you.
- You must not misuse the name of the Lord your God. The Lord will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.
- Don’t long for “the good old days.”
