For unto us a child is born (2/4)

Help us, O God of our salvation, For the glory of Your name; And deliver us, and provide atonement for our sins, For Your name’s sake!Help us, God our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your name’s sake.
And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.And walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him.
The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time.
And the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day.The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today.
You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.

Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.
