- Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

When shall I come and appear before God? - Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.

What can man do to me? - Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
- There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.
- Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
- For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
- But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

And who is a rock, except our God? - And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.
- Of how much more value is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
