- For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.
- No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.

my speech shall distil as the dew,
as the small rain upon the tender herb,
and as the showers upon the grass. - Can a woman forget her sucking child,
that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb?
yea, they may forget,
yet will I not forget thee.
Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands;
thy walls are continually before me. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise. - For there is not a word in my tongue,
but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. - For the mountains shall depart,
and the hills be removed;
but my kindness shall not depart from thee,
neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed,
saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. - No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God. - Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
- And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
- So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
