- May He grant you your heart’s desire
And fulfill your whole plan! - The integrity of the upright will guide them,
But the perversity of the treacherous will destroy them. - “And tear your heart and not merely your garments.”
Now return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and compassionate,
Slow to anger, abounding in mercy
And relenting of catastrophe. - Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
- Therefore know today, and take it to your heart, that the Lord, He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other.
- You shall not hate your fellow countryman in your heart; you may certainly rebuke your neighbor, but you are not to incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor hold any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord.

- And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the Lord’s commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good?
- These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. And you shall repeat them diligently to your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down, and when you get up.
- But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God.”
- I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
- I delight to do Your will, my God;
Your Law is within my heart. - I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go;
I will advise you with My eye upon you. - My flesh and my heart may fail,
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. - Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to dishonest gain. - I have treasured Your word in my heart,
So that I may not sin against You. - Teach me Your way, Lord;
I will walk in Your truth;
Unite my heart to fear Your name. - For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
- Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You I wait all the day. - The good person out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil person out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.
- I have inherited Your testimonies forever,
For they are the joy of my heart. - I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart;
I will tell of all Your wonders. - With all my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me wander from Your commandments. - Establish my footsteps in Your word,
And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me.
