- Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
- That is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
- Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him.
- Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

- Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
- For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
- Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

- What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him? - The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth. - All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

My soul shall be joyful in my God;
For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation,
He has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. - He answered and said to them, “He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.”
- Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
- This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him. - This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles. - The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.
