Chinese (traditional)- There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love.
- I made your name known to them, and I will make it known, so that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.
- And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love.
- And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, just as we abound in love for you.
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- You are altogether beautiful, my love;
there is no flaw in you. - They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them.
- Above all, maintain constant love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins.
- Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
- By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
- Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
- For God is not unjust; he will not overlook your work and the love that you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do.
- Hatred stirs up strife,
but love covers all offenses. - For this is the message you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
- The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.
- Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have; for he has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”
- Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.
- Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good.
- Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another.
- Each of you, however, should love his wife as himself, and a wife should respect her husband.
- When I thought, “My foot is slipping,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. - Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning,
for in you I put my trust.
Teach me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. - Great peace have those who love your law;
nothing can make them stumble.
No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends.Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from one person's envy of another. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind. If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.Next verse!With image
